'In Perfect Process' by Lisa King and the London Flower School

Alter-Projects collaborated with Lisa King on the launch of her first Design installation during London Design Festival in September 2019.

Lisa King and London Flower School introduced ‘In Perfect Process’, a collaborative collection, exhibition and pop up shop. The exhibition spread across 400 sq. metres in a disused church in Copeland Park, Peckham, showcasing oversized floral prints and photographs in silk.

The exhibition showcases the process of a creative journey, culminating several months of documentation by London Flower School’s in-house photographer Marcelo Deguchi, who chronicled the collaboration through a series of photographs and short films. The large-scale flower and print installation features limited-edition framed prints and locally made silk scarves available to purchase, each made in the vein of questioning the beauty and imperfection in nature and humanity. The prints feature abstract, kinetic flower formations, while the scarves present kaleidoscopic images of precisely arranged petals, stalks and leaves.
